Won't I have to pay double premium with both a nominal and income-related part?
No. Also in the new care scheme the care costs are
covered from several sources. The main financing sources of the
new care insurance are:
1. the flat-rate contribution which you pay directly to the care
insurer;
2. the income-related contribution of 6.5% that is levied at
verzekeringsplichtige and for which the employer is obliged give
compensation (these substitute the current employer premium);
3. a realm contribution for children younger than 18 years.
The two last financing sources are paid in the so-called care
insurance fund. By means of this fund money is divided
concerning separate care insurers. Thereby of it is no talk
twice pays, because as? of these three sources would be omitted,
then the two other sources strongly must increase to be able remain
pay the total care costs also in the future.
